Prof.(Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal is the founding dean of School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies. She specializes in the area of Criminal Justice Studies and Justice Education. Professor Pokhariyal holds a Master’s degree in law with specialization in Criminal Law and a Doctoral degree in the Constitutional Law from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. She has been a consultant and a resource person on various aspects of Legal studies for the government as well as non-government organisations. Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal was conferred with Senior Social Scientist Award by the Indian Society of Criminology for her significant contribution to the field of Criminology. She was also selected for best Law Professor Award by the Business School Affairs & Dewang Mehta National Education Awards. Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal is a visiting faculty at HOF University, Germany. and she is a resource person at various training programmes, National and International conferences. Prof. Pokhariyal has been actively engaged in the institution building and clinical legal education process. Her recent areas of interests are Higher Education, Artificial Intelligence and Law and Constitutional Law. She has several research papers published to her credit and has presented more than 50 papers in various National and International Conferences. She has authored a book on Artificial Intelligence and Law. She has also been the editor of many academic law journals. She has also conducted various FDPs for Law teachers on Innnovatative pedagogy for law teaching, Outcome Based Education for law Schools, Clinical Legal Education, Justice Education etc.

Prof. Pokhariyal has been a member of the Board of Governance at Nirma University. She is holding the position at many Universities as a member of the Board of Studies and the Advisory Board.
Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai serves as the Vice Chancellor of RGNUL, Punjab. Equipped with more than thirty years of professional experience as an author, researcher, teacher and administrator, he has been appointed as Convenor, Committee for Reforms in Criminal Laws set up by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, which is tasked with spearheading historic reforms in Criminal Laws in India. He has previously served as the Registrar, National Law University Delhi. He has also served as Professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice (Law); Chair Professor at K.L Arora Chair in Criminal Law; as well as the Chairperson of the Centre for Criminology & Victimology at National Law University Delhi. Prior to the same, he has served as Professor (Law & Development) & Chairperson at the Centre for Criminal Justice Administration, National Law Institute University, Bhopal. He has also held positions at the Indian Institute of Public Administration, (1989) Bureau of Police Research & Development, (1989- 1995), Punjab Police Academy, Punjab and Department of Criminology & Forensic Science, University of Saugar, M.P. As many as 12 students have already completed doctoral dissertations (Ph. D.) under his guidance. In addition to a Master’s specialisation in Criminology & Criminal Justice, he holds a doctorate in victimology and a post-doctorate in criminal justice from Leicester University, UK as Commonwealth Fellow at the Department of Criminology, Leicester University, U.K. Prof. Bajpai has authored eighteen books; more than eighty papers; and, more than fifty op-eds in the leading dailies like Indian Express, the Hindu, the Tribune etc. His books (2011) 'Witness & Criminal Justice Systems', 'On Cyber Crime & Cyber Law', 'Situational Crime Prevention & Crime Reduction' and ‘Victimological Narratives on Gender Violence’ (2014), Victim Justice- A Paradigm Shift in the Indian Criminal Justice System" and "Judgments that Shaped the India Jurisprudence" published (2017) by Thomson & Reuters. His most recent books (2019) 'Living on the Edge' and 'Juvenile Justice' (Bloomsbury) have been well-received. Prof. (Dr.) S. Shanthakumar is the Director, Gujarat National Law University with about 30 years of teaching experience at prestigious universities including Hidayatullah National Law University. Prof. Shanthakumar is holding in charge as the Director of Gujarat Maritime University and also appointed as the President of Gujarat International Maritime Arbitration Centre.
He is an alumnus of Madras University, Chennai, where he earned his graduation, post-graduation and doctorate degree in law. Before joining the legal academia, he had practiced at the Madras High Court for seven years.
His areas of specialization are Environmental Law, Human Rights Law, International Law and Constitutional Law. He has authored 3 books on Environmental Law and 2 books on Human Rights Law published by LexisNexis, National Law School of India University (CEERA), Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, etc. He has published a number of research articles on contemporary legal issues in various national and international journals and edited volumes. He has presented papers and delivered key note addresses in many national and international conferences in India and abroad.
Recently he was elected to represent South and West Asia at the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law. Currently, he is the Chair of Environmental Law Study Group of the International Association of Law Schools and Member of the Teaching and Capacity Building Committee of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law. He is also serving as the Country Focal Point for India for the Asian Development Bank project on Environment and Climate Change Law. He is also a member of the Standing Committee on Legal Education, Bar Council of India and Member of the Advisory Board for development of Legal Education & Legal Profession, Bar Council of India. Along with this Prof. S. Shanthakumar is the member of the Special Task Force, an School and Higher Chhattisgarh State Planning Commission
He had executed the Environmental Law Capacity Building Project funded by the World Bank through CEERA, NLSIU; the Law Teaching and Legal Research Skills Project of the British Council and Cardiff University, U.K.
He is also the recipient of prestigious awards like the Environmental Law Champions Development Award from Asian Development Bank, Philippines and the Best Social Scientist Award from the Indian Society of Criminology. At the IP Fest 2020, Prof. Shanthakumar has been recognized as the IP director of the year.
He had travelled around the globe extensively and had the privilege of being invited to deliver lectures at 30 premier Universities in various countries.
